Chief Operating Officer

This critical role will join a team of passionate individuals on a mission to change the course of autism for families in Western North Carolina. We are looking for a creative COO to help grow St. Gerard House’s innovative model and operational processes.

Purpose:
Chief Operating Officer (COO) directs operations of all programs and service lines and ensure effective and efficient systems, procedures, and practices are in place. As a member of the executive team, the COO contributes to the overall strategic and organizational plan and shares accountability for organizational performance and progress toward achieving operational goals for the mission of St. Gerard House. 

Supervision & Authority: 
This position derives authority from and is directly accountable to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who appoints, provides general direction to, and authorizes the COO to manage, through other supervisors, all activities and service operations of the organization. The COO works closely and collaboratively with the Chief Clinical Officer to coordinate clinical activities of the organization. As is expected of all executive team members, the COO supports team building and a collaborative problem-solving environment in meeting the duties and responsibilities of this position, clarifies responsibilities, and guides working relationships of the organizational structure.

This position requires at least five years of progressive management experience in healthcare or an ABA Autism center or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Autism Center

Revenue Cycle Manager

The Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) is accountable for ensuring the consistency and quality of the procedures and best practices for all revenue cycle operations including charge capture, billing, payment posting, collections, follow-up, denials management, billing audits, and revenue cycle data reporting. In conjunction with other departments, the revenue cycle manager will contribute to the day-to-day operations on all issues related to the revenue cycle function, provide analysis, create written processes and train others in implementing a cross functional revenue cycle team.

Minimum requirement is an Associate’s degree in business or related field and/or a combination of appropriate education and at least 5 year’s supervisory experience in a medical billing setting.

Feed The Need Garden Manager and Therapist

The Garden Manager will provide direct teaching and behavioral support to individuals with unique learning needs as well as care for and maintain an established garden with 30+ raised beds. They will work with a team of instructors and under the supervision of a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst to develop and implement lessons that focus on safety, skill acquisition and community engagement.

Behavior Technician

St Gerard House in Hendersonville, NC is hiring an entry level, positive and enthusiastic Behavior Technician. St. Gerard House provides a wide array of programs and support for families, caretakers, teachers, therapists and others who are integral parts of the life of an individual with autism.

The Behavior Technician will provide direct teaching and behavioral support to individuals with unique learning needs and will work 1:1 with a child with special needs under the close supervision and guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a clinical setting (center-based).

Experience working with children with disabilities is required. ABA experience is not required, but preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education, Psychology, or Associate’s Degree in related field preferred.
