On-site Guided Practice and Consultation

Providing on-site, individualized training of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to parents, teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, and any other staff participating in treatment.  Also involves working directly with parents and teachers in their classrooms or home, to model, guide, and provide feedback on specific procedures based on ABA.

Direct 1:1 Services
Staff trained in the science of ABA implement individualized programs created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, in a 1:1 direct format.  Services are offered in the home and/or community.

Training on the Use of Behavioral Assessments for Professionals
These trainings teach staff to utilize behavioral assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS) to guide individual goals and curriculum.

Group Parent Trainings
Trainings are offered to family members on how to implement behavioral strategies in the home and community environments.  As well, parent support groups accompany trainings in order to collaborate and offer support for parents experiencing similar issues.

Professional Trainings
Workshops based on the use of ABA in specific settings (e.g., school, day care, workplace) are offered at St. Gerard House in order to provide problem-solving ideas that are individualized to the location. Group rates must include at least 10 professionals.
